WAKEFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (July 21, 2016) ― Thrive Payments and the Ohio Museums Association (OMA) today announced a marketing alliance designed to improve payment acceptance services for members of OMA while establishing monthly monetary support to the association from Thrive based on active business at no additional cost to the member museum.
Stated Johnna McEntee, Executive Director of the Ohio Museums Association, “The Ohio Museums
Association understands that many of our member museums are frustrated by unreliable, outdated and costly equipment and services that at times can seem to create more issues than solutions. Through this new partnership, OMA members now have access to quality merchant services tailored specifically to their organization's unique needs. Our goal is for OMA members to experience the cost and time savings that Thrive's products and services provide - so that the museum's merchant services become a tool to better serve their audience and help advance their mission."
Ted Keith, Jr., CEO of Thrive Payments noted “This alliance will help OMA members reduce cost, implement new technologies and strengthen their data security programs. We ensure each client has the payment acceptance product set which best suits their needs and growth initiatives.”
Keith also noted “There are many aspects of payment acceptance which museums find painful, including understanding complex pricing, PCI-DSS data security requirements and new technologies, such as EMV-chip acceptance and digital enablement services such as Apple Pay.” Not only does this partnership provide OMA members the opportunity to improve efficiency of their existing merchant services program, decrease cost, and increase data security but every member processing through Thrive Payments will also indirectly support OMA. Each month, Thrive Payments will make a contribution to OMA based on active business. As such, processing with Thrive Payments assists the Ohio Museums Association to continue their profound work at no additional cost to the member museum. The partnership is beneficial to all parties while introducing an opportunity to enhance allegiance by member museums and Thrive in support of OMA.
Keith noted that Thrive Payments offers a broad array of payment products and services, including NCR Silver tablet-based POS systems, AprivaPay Plus mobile acceptance, Verifone point-of-sale hardware systems, five different processing platforms, Apriva secure gateway services and concierge data security services from Payload Networks, LLC.
Thrive Payments is active in the museum industry and a proud member of all six regional museum associations in the U.S., as well as several state associations including the Ohio Museums Association.
